M is for Move over Homie...
...there's a new pup in town! Please welcome Nameless Puppy. At 7 1/2 weeks old, he is fully vaccinated and ready for visitors. This new Bad Boy of the house took 4 shots like a champ - no crying, pouting, or peeing on the table (as Homie did).

K is for Kid flying a Kite
I love Easter, I love kids, I love kids at Easter :) Yesterday we had over 100 eggs filled with goodies for my nephews to find. I wanted to take them to fly a kite too but we were distracted with all the eggs, food, babies and Bakugons. Don't ask me what Bakugons are, I'm still the cool Auntie for pretending to know what they are and how to play with them. Since I didn't get to flying the kite I might as well draw one.
K is for Kid in a Box
The Japanese Cherry Blossom festival in Japantown had some interesting things going on, like this traditional Japanese child-box.

K is for kaffir lime leaves
If I had a favorite leaf, this would be my new #1. I was introduced to the kaffir lime leaf two weeks ago at my first Thai cooking class. It is widely used in Thai (and other southeast Asian) dishes for its unique and aromatic scent. I did my Thai "homework" today and made two dishes containing these leaves: a hot and sour prawn soup (dtom yam gkoong) and a green curry (gkaeng kiew wahn moo). Mmmm.
